Healthy Diet Food: Ricotta, Banana and Honey on Rye Toast Recipe
A super-speedy breakfast that packs an indulgent punch while still low on calories. I love rye bread, and always have the pre-sliced loaves in for breakfasts. A note from Eatopic: If you have any banana left over you can freeze it in chunks and use it to make gorgeous, thick smoothies straight from the freezer.
- 100g rye bread (2 large slices or 4 small slices, max 190 calories)
- 60g ricotta
- 1 large banana, sliced diagonally
- Pinch ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon runny honey
- Toast the slices of rye bread in a toaster.
- Spread with the ricotta then top with the sliced banana. Sprinkle with a pinch of cinnamon and drizzle over the honey to serve.
