Foaming Sage Butter Recipe
- 125 g unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons chopped sage
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
- #This is so simple, yet totally delicious – melted butter is sauteed until golden and nutty, then mixed with fresh sage leaves and a little crushed garlic. It is particularly good with pumpkin ravioli or spinach and ricotta gnocchi.# Melt the butter in a small frying pan, then cook over medium heat for 3-4 minutes until it turns golden brown.
- Remove the pan from the heat and add the sage leaves, garlic and a little seasoning. Leave to sizzle in the butter for 30 seconds until fragrant.
