  • 1 large slice crusty brown bread
  • 1/4 oz (7 g) soft butter
  • 4 slices Parma ham
  • Freshly ground pepper
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 fresh fig, sliced


  • Spread the bread with the butter.
  • Place the slices of ham individually on a board, sprinkle with pepper, roll up and arrange on the bread.
  • Spoon the mayonnaise onto the ham, and top with the fig slices.
