Spreads and Fillings: Cottage Cheese with Apple
- 8 oz (225g) cottage cheese
- 1 crisp dessert apple
- 1/2 large onion
- Sieve the cottage cheese into a bowl.
- Peel and quarter the apple. Remove the core and grate the apple coarsely.
- Peel and finely chop the onion.
- Stir the apple and onion into the cottage cheese and season with salt.
